Jihan Wu

Chief Executive Officer

Jihan is a pioneer of the nascent global blockchain industry. In 2011, he was the first to translate Satoshi Nakamoto's whitepaper for Bitcoin into Mandarin. He co-founded Bitmain in 2013, leading the company to become the world's largest designer and manufacturer of semiconductor chips and hardware used in Bitcoin mining.

In 2018, Fortune recognized Jihan in its “40 Young People Under 40” for his influence and impact on FinTech and business transformation. Jihan founded Bitdeer in 2020, steering it to become a global leader in blockchain and high-performance computing technologies. Bitdeer was listed on the NASDAQ in 2023 under the stock code BTDR. He also chairs Matrixport, one of the world's largest digital assets financial services ecosystem serving institutions.

Jihan obtained dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Psychology from Peking University in 2009.

Linghui Kong

Chief Business Officer

Linghui brings over 15 years of distinguished experience in R&D and project management to his current role as Chief Business Officer, with deep industry knowledge and technological expertise.

From April 2018 to December 2020, Linghui served as the Head of Application Software Department at Bitmain. Prior to that, he was a senior software architect at Tencent Technology Beijing Co., Ltd. from April 2011 to March 2018.

Linghui holds a Master’s in Telecommunication and Information System from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (2008) and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering (2005), both from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

Jianchun Liu

Chief Financial Officer

With over 20 years of experience in finance and business operations, Jianchun has served as Chief Financial Officer since January 2021. He has played a pivotal role in the company's financial management and strategic planning, overseeing key financial strategies and driving business growth. He previously served as the financial director of Bitmain from 2016 to 2021.

Jianchun obtained an MBA from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2017), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics (2000), both from Renmin University of China.

Haris Basit

Chief Strategy Officer

Haris has over 30 years of experience in high-performance integrated circuits and semiconductor technology. As Bitdeer's Chief Strategy Officer since June 2023, he brings a wealth of strategic insights and industry expertise to the company.

Haris has founded and led several semiconductor technology companies, including Averatek Corporation, where he served as CEO from August 2017 to May 2023. He also co-founded Almaden Energy Group (AEG), LLC, and has provided corporate strategy consulting since 2012. Haris's early career includes roles as a Staff Engineer at IBM, a Manager at Rockwell International and Bell Labs, and Founder/CEO of Multigig, Inc. and Mobius Power, LLC.

He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (1986) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (1984), both from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
